4 days of event-promoter at Suntec convention hall finally came to an end.
I'm officially a ear candling therapist! HAHAH
Why? Cause for the whole of 4 days, I'm required to put candle, made from beewax, which specially suck out excess ear wax in our ears and massaging of shoulder.
All the time, we were like "Auntie Uncle TEN DOLLARS TEN DOLLARS~"
Best part of the job is making friends across the hall.
We walked around talking to peeps of our age, exchanging flyers and trying out food samples. HAHA
Opposite my booth sells chocolate and while trying out their samples, we made friends with them :D
On the last day, one of them went to our booth to try out ear candling! So cool.
Throughout these 4 days, I saw a handful of familiar faces.
Like Annie, Peiyan, Brandon, Shane and Whye Kit.
I've make interesting friends who share part of their life story with me.
Shirley, an Indonesia-chinese, studying at Ngee Ann Poly, who works very very hard for money so as to make a living in Singapore. At the same time, humorous, pretty and posses a unique voice.
Joey Loh, the MC of Wen Luxe Spa for these 4 days, who have the talent in attracting crowd and brightening up many aunties and uncles' day, shared with me how her job scope is like outside and how sales should be done in the right way.
Gwen, the manager of Wen Luxe Spa, very friendly and is a strong motivator who always have faith in everyone of us. She shared with me her fascination towards bag and how her two young girls fascinate over pretty expensive shoes.
All in all, valuable exprience gained from this job.
Earlier in the week, I had my exam.
Not very well done, I think? But hopefully I'll be able to score at least C+ for POM and B for econs.
Accounting? DISTINCTION PLEASEEEE!!!
I screwed up my Comm skills test alr! The rest, please don't fail me!!
P/s: I changed my mind! Not cutting Bob hair style anymore and I'll be putting braces in 3 weeks time!
